About Fred-Michael Capalby
It’s not what happens to you but how you handle it. Sure, you may have heard it before. Something like “mind over matter” or “you are what you think.” But these phrases aren’t just words for the wind. Fred-Michael Capalby, known for his undeniable work ethic as much as he is for the smile on his face, has built a successful career based off of these core tenants. A quick conversation with Fred-Michael, and his joy for life and passion for people is undeniable, but at the same rate, completely understandable.
“I think it stems from my Italian heritage. I’m a man of faith, blessed husband, and loving father.” Fred-Michael’s passion, and his infectious personality, both stem from his roots. “I’d say I’m a kind person,” Fred-Michael continues. “But I wouldn’t always say I’m a ‘nice’ person. The difference? I’m not afraid to be honest, and I really value candid communication. I actually think the highest form of love is grace and truth.” Fred-Michael Capalby lives by an “F” life — Faith, Family, Fitness, Friends, Finances, and Fun. “Pretty much in that order,” he laughs. “Once you take one out of the equation, the rest are bound to falter to some degree.”
Throughout his career, Fred-Michael Capalby has proven himself as a successful business leader with broad based accomplishments in Human Resources, Client Management, and Business Operations. Some of his work includes successfully working with the following companies and clients: The Walt Disney Companies, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Paramount and Sony Pictures Entertainment; JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Twitter, E-Bay, PayPal, St Joseph, Dignity and Memorial Healthcare systems.
Currently, Fred-Michael serves as Sr. Director of Global Human Resources for VUBIQUITY, a global digital media and entertainment services company monetizing and distributing premium content and managed services for TV Networks, Major and Independent Film Studios, Cable, Satelite, and OTT platform providers. Before that, Fred-Michael has worked in a number of successful roles at companies such as CohnReznick LLP, i4cp, Interaction Associates, and Washington Mutual.JP Morgan Chase, to name a few.
All of this sounds very larger than life, and for a man known for his strong business acumen and strategic thinking, it sounds very much in line with Fred-Michael’s career history. “Honestly,” he says when asked about his life outside of work. “I love Hallmark movies. I love Christmas and the spirit of goodwill and kindness towards people. And, I have an affinity for fashion. If I wasn’t doing what I am now, I think writing or contributing to a lifestyle brand would be pretty cool.”
In addition, Fred-Michael Capalby loves the New England Patriots, playing tennis, softball, swimming, and getting in the kitchen to try his hand at some of that great Italian food he grew up with.
